Note: any shopping you do on the website is nonrefundable. We know you have trusted our family to do delivery, we will continue doing it as we have done it before, trying to do anything possible to get the products to your door. although, due to few problems with the shipping companies, we would adopt a nonrefoundable policy for all the orders taking.

LOCATION OF COFFEE PLANTATION IN COSTA RICA

There is a bridge that is closed !    This is the link to the site on maps with directions to the detour:  there are 4 ways: detour #1 ,  specially if you come from the Pacific cost and have a 4x4 detour #2 is the one if you are coming from palmares or San Ramon, or la fortuna area only with 4x4 detour #3 if you are coming from the central valley, road 3, airport, San Jose, Alajuela: detour #4 : easiest traffic, most recommended, coming from atenas follow the GPS until Barrio Mercedes calle la granja, you have to cross a very low river. 4x2 are ok, we tested it. don't do it if your 4x2 is extra low and easily hit the ground. then after getting to road 135 you need to just follow your GPS towards El Toledo Coffee tour, the road goes through calle brujas.  This is the link to calle La granja, you follow it and cross the river without a bridge:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/E7smnPm5Ucs2in346 Then you get to cake brujas, then calle san Isidro, then our place....

Our place is humble but built in a way that people enjoy the view to the mountains as they can stay a night or more on a coffee family state! ! Coffee berry wine

Coffee cherry wine. Or coffee fruit wine is been something people have tried before. But it has not been able to happen. The reasons behind the failed of trying that has been the ability to collect the fruit pulp from the coffee beans! This year 2016 we tried our first batch of it. How did we do it. We first got to stop the water use to rinse it away. Then with a coffee been press we were able to remove the coffee fruit pulp from the coffee beans. Resulta: 5000 litters of pulp a year. We haven't made it all. But this year we have tried 40 different recepies. A Total of about 200 gallons. As we are not wine makers, we've been learning. So like half of that was thrown away. But 100 gallons of different types of wines is a huge good result for this first try! We have been trying new things and learning from books, internet, people.
