You have arrived at a place where time slows down to the rhythm of the harvest. Here, on the slopes of the "Sleeping Giant" (Pata de Gallo), you are standing on ground forged by ancient volcanic fires eons ago. While the craters have long since hidden beneath a blanket of emerald forest, their spirit remains in the rich, dark soil that nourishes every coffee tree surrounding you.

Your Stay at our Family Farm

This is a working, artisanal farm. The trees you see from your window are the birthplace of our farm. Our philosophy is simple: we grow in harmony with nature. We invite you to breathe in the air of Atenas—renowned as the best climate in the world—and let the quiet mystery of the mountain recharge you.

A Taste of Our Heritage

To truly experience the soul of this mountain, we invite you to join us for a meal. Our kitchen is an extension of our farm, where we prepare traditional recipes with a personal, family touch:

  • The Sunrise Breakfast: A hearty start with traditional flavors and our signature 100% pure high-altitude coffee.

  • The Farmer’s Table: A personalized lunch or dinner, slow-cooked and served with the warmth of our home.

A Few Tips for Your Stay:

  • The Morning Mist: Early morning is the best time to spot the birds that call our shade-grown canopy home.

  • The Pacific Breeze: In the late afternoon, look toward the horizon; you can often feel the salt-kissed air traveling up from the coast.

  • The Coffee Ritual: You’ll find fresh beans and a traditional chorreador in your room. Making coffee this way is a meditation—enjoy the process.

Served between 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM

The Traditional Tico Feast$10

The ultimate farm start. Authentic Gallo Pinto (seasoned rice and beans), farm-fresh eggs, local artisan cheese, sweet plantains, and warm tortillas. Served with a side of seasonal tropical fruit.

The Continental Mountain Light$8

Freshly baked local bread or pastries, seasonal fruit, and homemade jam or local honey.

Included with every breakfast:

Unlimited coffee fresh brewed. Hand-picked, sun-dried, and roasted right here on the farm.


The "Pata de Gallo" Table (Lunch or Dinner)

The Signature Farm "Casado"$15

A traditional "marriage" of flavors. Your choice of protein (Chicken, Beef, pork or Vegetarian), served with white rice, black beans, a fresh garden salad from local growers, and our "picadillo" of the day.

The "Sleeping Giant" Special$17

Ask us about our daily family recipe! This is usually a slow-cooked specialty like Arroz con Pollo or a rich Caribbean-influenced stew, depending on what is fresh at the market.
